PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce a process time and process costs by simultaneously forming an anti-reflection layer and a front electrode of the solar cell with a metal oxidation method. CONSTITUTION: A hydrogenation process is performed on a semiconductor substrate(100) with an emitter. A metal thin film(104) with a preset thickness is formed on the upper side of the hydrogenation process completed emitter layer using a first metal material to be oxidized. A front electrode pattern(106) is formed on the upper side of the metal thin film using a second metal material which is not oxidized. A metal oxidation process is performed on the semiconductor substrate on which an emitter layer, a metal layer, and a front electrode pattern are formed. An anti-reflection layer and a front electrode are simultaneously formed to operate the first metal material as the anti-reflection layer and a front electrode pattern as the front electrode. |
