PURPOSE: A display device and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to electrically connect a pad with a bump without an anisotropic conductive film, thereby saving costs. CONSTITUTION: A display substrate(100) comprises a signal wire and a pad electrode. The signal wire transfers a driving signal to a plurality of pixels. The pad electrode is formed on one end of the signal wire. The pad electrode comprises compounds between metals. A driving chip comprises compounds between the metals. The driving chip comprises a terminal contacting the pad electrode.
