PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular pedestrian protective device for receiving the body of a pedestrian by relieving a load applied at abutting time of an automobile and the pedestrian. SOLUTION: Air bags 4 and 5 on the side of an air bag housing part 3 arranged in a front bumper 10 unfolds in the forward and upward direction of the front bumper 10 by foreseeing a collision with the pedestrian 1. The air bag 5 is positioned separately from a front hood 11 to relieve the load applied in a state of separating the upper body of the pedestrian 1 from the front hood 11. Then, the pedestrian 1 is received so as not to abut to the front bumper 10 and the front hood 11. |
