The method comprises anodically treating an upper surface of an implant with an aqueous, fluoride-free electrolyte that consists of ammonia, phosphoric acid and boric acid, or with an aqueous electrolyte that consists of sodium permanganate and ammonium vanadate. An independent claim is included for an implant with anti-corrosive coating.
