The invention relates to a lamp with at least one phosphor bulb (2) and at least one light-emitting diode device (22), with the at least one light-emitting diode device (22) optically coupled to the at least one phosphor bulb (2) in such a way that the light produced by the at least one light-emitting diode device (22) radiates into the at least one phosphor bulb (2). The lamp is preferably used for the backlighting of displays.
