The bed has a frame (8) on stands (7) or wheels with the normal facilities of the sleeping area (9) to be adjusted in height as required. It is equipped with a head board (10) and a foot board (41). The patient can be protected from falling by laterally positioned railings, assembled of segments (2, 3, 4, 5) with telescopically arranged vertical bars to be fixed in three different heights. In the lowest position the railings are completely hidden behind vertical panels (40). |
