PURPOSE: A bulb moving type head lamp is provided to prevent the collision between the obstacles in the edge of a road and pedestrian by securing the viewing direction through the enlargement of the beam irradiation width. CONSTITUTION: A head lamp housing(11) is installed in the backend of a bezel(12). A bulb(14) generating a light source is installed inside the head lamp housing. A reflector(20) is fixed to the backend of the bulb and reflects the beam of the bulb. The front-end of the reflector is installed in the bezel to be movable in a backward and forward direction. A shield(13) is fixed to the head lamp housing. The shield collects the scattered beam of the bulb and reflects the beam to the reflector. A driving unit moves the bulb and the reflector in a backward and forward direction. A controller controls the driving unit according to the driving speed.
