There is provided a method for determining transfer of data records from a trend log, comprising receiving a time to fill parameter, hereinafter denoted TTF, pertaining to a pre-defined fraction of the trend log having been filled; receiving a previous time to fill parameter, hereinafter denoted PTTF, pertaining to a previous pre-defined fraction of the trend log having been filled; receiving a transfer threshold parameter, hereinafter denoted TT, associated with the PTTF parameter; and determining transfer of data records in case the value of the TTF parameter is smaller than the ratio between the PTTF parameter and a first auxiliary parameter, hereinafter denoted FA, associated with the TT parameter. Corresponding apparatus and computer program product are also provided.
