PURPOSE: A content protection system and a method for through an authentication of an apparatus, and a content protection system, an authentication management server therefore are provided to prevent illegal usage of contents at a user terminal by certifying specific conditions for supplying contents of a user terminal and transmitting the contents to the certified terminal. CONSTITUTION: A content control server(200) requests the authentication of a user terminal(100) from a certificate process server and provides contents to the certified user terminal. A certificate process server(300) registers the user terminal satisfying certification conditions as the certified terminal and searches terminal information which is stored in a database previously, and then it confirm whether the user terminal requesting the contents is registered or not and provides a confirmation result to a content providing server.
