PURPOSE: A composition for anti-oxidation, antibiotics, and anti-diabetes is provided to use as a cosmetic product for anti-aging or pharmaceutical composition. CONSTITUTION: An anti-oxidation agent contains leaf, root, or stem extract of Hippophae rhamnoides L. or organic solvent fraction as an active ingredient. The extract is isolated with water, alcohol, or mixture thereof. The organic solvent fraction is obtained by dissolving leaves, roots, or stems of Hippophae rhamnoides L. and fractioning with hexane, ethyl acetate, and butanol in order. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating disease caused by excessive accumulation of active oxygen coating the root, leaf, or stem extract of Hippophae rhamnoides L. or organic solvent fraction thereof.
