COMPOSITION OF ANTI-OXIDATIVE AND ANTI-HYPERTENSIVE PEPTIDE DERIVED FROM FRESHWATER ZOOPLANKTON AND PROCESS THEREOF

PURPOSE: A peptide composition having anti-oxidation and anti-hypertension properties, which is obtained from rotifer is provided to ensure ACE suppression and anti-oxidation. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an active ingredient having anti-oxidation and anti-hypertension properties comprises: a step of pulverizing rotifer; a step of hydrolyzing protein which is contained in pulverized rotifer; and a step of isolating the extract through chromatography. The used protease is chymotrypsin, alcalase, neutrase, papain, pepsin, trypsin, or flavourzyme. A composition for anti-oxidation and anti-hypertension contains a peptide obtained by hydrolyzing protein.
