A method for assessment of treatment efficiency of patients with ischemic heart disease with angina and arterial hypertensia by Betaxolol comprises the comparison of a state of patients before and after the treatment. In addition to treatment by Betaxolol at the patient in a state of rest 5 ml of blood is taken from the elbow vein and liquid properties of blood are determined by measurement of blood viscosity on rotational viscosimeter at various pressure of displacement from 0.020 dyne/cmup to 8.8 dyne/cm.After treatment by Betaxolol 5 ml of blood is taken from the elbow vein and similar research is carried out. Thus if viscosity of blood at the pressure of displacement 0.3 dyne/cmdecreases for 10 % in comparison with the pressure before treatment the hemoreological result and antianginal effect are estimated as positive.
