PURPOSE: A mobile fax service providing method utilizing a multiple identification number service and an apparatus thereof are provided to proceed each function independently by proceeding a call/SMS(Short Message Service) message function through an existing identification number and performing a mobile facsimile service function through a newly given identification number. CONSTITUTION: A mobile fax service providing apparatus receives a fax message through the second identification number of a mobile communication terminal from a fax terminal(S303). The apparatus transmits a fax message receiving complete message through the first identification number of the mobile communication terminal(S305). The apparatus stores a converted fax message(S309). The apparatus offers the fax message to a user of the mobile communication terminal(S313).
