The invention relates to the chemical industry and can be used in other fields, such as petrochemical, food etc., for cooling, heating, cleaning, gas absorption, separation of liquid mixtures into components and other processes. A heat and mass exchange apparatus comprises a body with pipes for inlet and outlet of light and heavy phases, contact elements - swirl plates installed inside the body, each of which consists of the upper part in the form of a web with radially arranged rectangular openings closed at the top by guide plates, around which on the web perforated cowlings are installed, and the lower pat divided by annular and radial partitions and a bottom into sections, on which nozzles are radially arranged for intermediate removal of heavy phase. The upper and lower parts of the contact element are connected by an overflow pipe with slots for removal of heavy phase on the lower part of plate, and nozzles for introduction of light phase are located between the upper and lower parts of the contact elements, in the case between the contact elements conical perforated partitions are located coaxially with the body. The invention provides for increase of contact area of phases due to creation of an additional interface in the area of conical perforated partitions, that increases output of the apparatus, and allows to use thereof both for pure liquids and suspensions containing solid particles and crystals. |
