PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a distortion of a digital amplifier are provided to cancel a distortion of an output signal by modeling a power supplied to a driving power and changing an input signal estimated according power variation. CONSTITUTION: A compensating signal generator(201) uses an estimated model reflecting the variation property of a power supply unit and estimates the variation of the power supply unit, and then it generates an offset signal cancelling the distortion of the output according to the variation of the power supply unit. A compensator(202) receives an input signal inputted to a digital amplifier and a compensation signal and converts the input signal by using the compensation signal.
