A method relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to construction of chamber for continuous etching and cleaning of steel hot-rolled strip from scale. A chamber comprises the systems of supply andof etchant and mechanism of strip feed, system of supply of etchant is equipped two pair of collectors for supply of etchant – the top and the bottom on input of strip in chamber and the top and the bottom on output of strip from chamber. The collectors are equipped with nozzles of collector replaceable on length according to width of section strip, axes of collector nozzles located on input of strip in chamber are directed on move of strip under angle 13° to strip surface, and axes of collector nozzles located on output of strip from chamber are directed against move of strip under the same angle, and on bottom of etching chamber ledges-turbulence promoters are made as granite parallelepipeds height of 30-50 mm, width 60-70 mm, length 850-900 mm and are placed in chessboard order which are provided with increase of turbulence degree of stream of etching substance which is washed a processed strip. Plum of etchant is carried out through line of apertures in the bottom part of the chamber between turbulence promoters. The invention provides increase of work efficiency of the chamber and quality of cleaning of strip surface. |
