PURPOSE: A dual panel type organic electroluminescent device is provided to improve the production yield and the production management efficiency by forming an array device and an organic electroluminescent diode on different substrates, respectively. CONSTITUTION: A first substrate(150) includes a display region and a non-display region. The display region includes a plurality of pixel regions. A first electrode is formed on the first substrate. A partition wall(160) is formed in the boundary of the pixel region. An organic light emitting layer(165) is formed on the first electrode within the pixel region. A second electrode is formed on the organic light emitting layer within the pixel region. The second substrate faces the first substrate. A switching thin film transistor and a driving thin film transistor are formed on the second substrate. A protective layer covers the switching thin film transistor and the driving thin film transistor. A connection electrode is formed on the protective layer.
