PURPOSE: A call identification sound in a network providing system and a method thereof are provided to enable recognition of a discount service in the network by offering the call identification sound in the network to an originating terminal. CONSTITUTION: An originating signal controller(111) creates an origination request message. The origination request message includes the first parameter. If the first parameter is not included in the origination request message, a receiving signal controller(112) transmits a ring tone to the originating signal controller. An identification sound providing server(114) transmits a call identification sound in a network to a originating terminal(101) after confirmation of the first parameter.
