PURPOSE: A display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent the color mixture caused by the loss of a sidewall and improve the color implementation. CONSTITUTION: Gate lines(121) are formed on a first insulated substrate, and data lines(171a) intersect the gate lines. A TFTs(Thin Film Transistors) are connected to the gate liens and the data lines. Barriers(361a) are formed on the TFT, the gate lines and the data lines. Pixel electrodes are connected to the TFTs, and an LCD layer is formed between the first and second insulation substrates.
