The device (1) has a filtration module (2) comprising a main water inlet (3) equipped with a filtration basket (4) to collect impurities. The filtration module is connected to a suction module that is utilized for sucking water at a surface of a basin by the main water inlet and collecting the impurities in the basket. An auxiliary water inlet (6) is arranged in parallel to the main water inlet for blocking passage of water under normal operation when the main water inlet is not blocked and authorizing the passage of water under protected operation when the main water inlet is blocked.
