The implant has a rectangular plate (1) inserted in maxillary sinus for forming a floor distant from maxillary bone such that a synthetic bone substitute is fashioned with the bone. The plate is made of tricalcium phosphate, hydroxyapatite and mixture of components. A central part (2) of the plate is porous, and comprises channels crossing from side to side for allowing mucous membrane to hide upper inner surface of the sinus provided by the bone and the bone substitute that are on a side of the plate.
