The method involves allowing gas to be treated to be in contact with an absorbing solution comprising amines in aqueous solution to obtain gas enriched with acid compounds. A fraction of the absorbing solution is regenerated in a regeneration column (G) to obtain a regenerated absorbing solution and a gaseous effluent. A part of condensates is introduced into the regeneration column, and the gas enriched with acid compounds is allowed to be in contact in a washing section (B3) with a liquid water flow to obtain a cooled effluent. A part of the water enriched in amine is recycled.
