摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar lighting system which has an inverted wedge shape, and can adjust light and dark caused by an inadequate optical axis height of a light source with respect to a light incident surface when a size of the system is increased and a thickness and weight of the system is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The planar lighting system includes a light guide plate 16, a light source 12 arranged oppositely to the light incident surface 16d of the light guide plate 16, a casing 52 for housing the light guide plate 16 and the light source 12, a column 58a arranged on a surface of the casing 52 opposite to the rear surface of the light guide plate 16 to abut on a periphery of the light incident surface 16d on the rear surface of the light guide plate 16, a biasing means 80 for biasing the periphery of the light incident surface 16d to the column 58a, and a first height adjusting mechanism structured between the casing 52 and the column 58a for lifting the periphery of the light incident surface 16d on the rear surface of the light guide plate 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
