摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of driving an organic electroluminescence emitting part for reducing the degree of change in the relative luminance. <P>SOLUTION: The method of driving the organic electroluminescence emitting part includes processes of: (a) carrying out pretreatment; (b) carrying out threshold voltage canceling processing; (c) carrying out writing processing; (d) making a floating state of a first node, and (e) driving the organic electroluminescence emitting part, and then carrying out at least once a series of the processes for applying a reverse direction voltage between an anode electrode and a cathode electrode of the organic electroluminescence emitting part. The method repeatedly carries out the series of the processes from the process (a) to the process (e), and includes an auxiliary drive process for applying a forward voltage between the anode electrode and the cathode electrode of the organic electroluminescence emitting part, over a certain period between the process (e) and the next process (a).
