<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage progress circumstances under the consideration of the difficulty of a design in each phase of a design operation. <P>SOLUTION: A graph 100 represents a correlation between the operation time of a design operation and the progress rate. In the graph 100, a CAD operation is not much advanced with respect to the operation time since layout or a new mechanism are considered in a phase 1, and the CAD operation is advanced at a stretch, and the progress rate is sharply increased according to this in a phase 2, and since check or correction prior to drafting is time-consuming, the speed of the CAD operation is slowed down, and the increase of the number of features is relaxed in a phase 3. Thus, the progress rate of the design operation is not simply increased according to the lapse of the operation time but increased according to the difficulty of design in each phase. Therefore, it is possible to manage the progress circumstances under the consideration of the difficulty of design in each phase of the design operation by changing the gradient of the progress rate with respect to the operation time in each phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
