<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately deal with the requests from external devices connected to a plurality of communication means, even if the requests compete. <P>SOLUTION: An arbiter 78 determines whether a request is stored in a communication buffer 72 or 76, connected to a network and a USB, respectively. If the request is stored, a common application 82 is called out, and the application 82 is made to execute processing on the request. At the same time, until the processing is finished, even if the next request is stored in either of the communication buffers 72, 76, the request is left standing; and when processing under execution is finished, processing for the next request is started. Consequently, even if a request from a computer PC 1 connected to the network and a request from a computer PC 2 connected to the USB compete, the requests can be dealt appropriately. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
