<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell that prevents a zinc oxide from dissolving in an electrolyte composition and also prevents a sensitized dye from being decomposed while having relatively high photoelectric conversion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The dye-sensitized solar cell includes: an electrolyte layer arranged between electrodes and containing an electrolyte composition; a zinc oxide layer arranged on the inside of one of the electrodes; and a sensitized dye carried by the zinc oxide layer. The dye-sensitized solar cell is configured such that the electrolyte composition is prepared by blending a pyrrolidinium salt, an iodide salt containing iodide ions at a concentration equivalent to 0.1-0.3 mol with respect to the electrolyte composition, and iodine molecules at a concentration equivalent to 0.02-0.06 mol with respect to the electrolyte composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
