PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device capable of controlling damping force characteristics in which a control range of demand damping force conforms both a variable range of damping force characteristics in a pressure side and a variable range of damping force characteristics in an extension side. SOLUTION: On a pressure side region, a variable restrictor 30 is controlled in accordance with a first damping-coefficient C<SB>H1</SB>, and on an extension side region, a variable restrictor 30 is controlled in accordance with a second damping-coefficient C<SB>H2</SB>. A first linear damping-coefficient C<SB>s1</SB>of the first damping-coefficient C<SB>H1</SB>is preliminarily set in accordance with a variable range A of damping force characteristics on a pressure side. A second linear damping-coefficient C<SB>s2</SB>of the second damping-coefficient C<SB>H2</SB>is preliminarily set in accordance with a variable range B of damping force characteristics on an extension side. A Lissajous waveform on a pressure side is well overlapped with the variable range A, and a Lissajous waveform on an extension side is well overlapped with the variable range B. Thus, damping force characteristics can be controlled in which a control range of demand damping force conforms both the variable range A on a pressure side and a variable range B on an extension side.
