PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target tracking apparatus for stably estimating the length of a target when simultaneously estimating the position and velocity of the target and the length of the target based on time-series data of observation information by high-resolution radar sensor. SOLUTION: The target tracking apparatus includes: a position/velocity estimation part 210 that is a tracking filter for estimating the position and velocity of a target; and a target length estimation part 220 that is a tracking filter for estimating the length of the target. The position and velocity of the target and the length of the target are simultaneously estimated while a smoothed value of each component of the position and velocity of the target and a smoothed value of the target length are correlated with each other between the position/velocity estimation part 210 and the target length estimation part 220.
