PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and a dust removing method for easily removing dust. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes an imaging part 30 for picking up an image through an optical system 18, a casing 6 for covering the imaging part, a connecting terminal 32 provided to be exposed from the casing and connected to the ground potential 40 at the external side of the casing, and a conductor member 28 for electrically connecting the connecting terminal and the imaging part.
