BLOOD PRESSURE MEASURING DEVICE WITH IMPROVED DISPLAY

In a display section (40), blood pressure data read from a memory section are displayed by a blood pressure level bar (202) subdivided into rectangular segments and by numerical values of data (200A, 200B).  When blood pressure is being measured, the display section (40) displays the blood pressure level bar and numerical values as the blood pressure being detected rises and lowers.  A reference value (204) for determining the status of high blood pressure is displayed in relation to the blood pressure level bar (202).  A person whose blood pressure is being measured can understand, on the basis of the reference value (204), a blood pressure classification to which the measured blood pressure corresponds.  Even if the size of a display region of the display section (40) is small, the person can easily understand, by the blood pressure level bar (202), transition of the value of blood pressure.
