<p>PURPOSE: A cam-locking coupling assembly with a drain valve is provided to safely separate a hose or a conduit by installing a drain valve in the external wall of a female connecting member. CONSTITUTION: A cam-locking coupling assembly comprises a female coupling member(20). The female coupling member comprises a pair of first and second ear parts(226), a first cam arm(36), a second cam arm, and a drain valve. The first ear parts are protruded from one side of an external wall. The first cam arm is rotatably installed between the first ear parts. The second arm parts are protruded from the other side of the external wall. The second cam arm is rotatably installed between the second ear parts. The drain valve is installed in a proper place between locker arms.</p> |
