The present invention relates to a pentagonal truss structure for a generator and to a structure for a generating station using same. It is an aim of the present invention to provide a pentagonal truss structure for a generator and a structure for a generating station using same, wherein the truss structure is employed in an apparatus for supporting a turbine to firmly support the turbine, and maintenance/repair or replacement of the turbine installed in the generating station is easily performed. To this end, the present invention provides a pentagonal truss structure for a generator, and a structure for a generating station using same, wherein said pentagonal truss structure comprises a top support and a bottom support disposed on the top and bottom of a turbine to rotatably support the turbine, and a plurality of connection members which interconnect vertices of said top support and said bottom support, in such a manner that the vertex of either said top support or said bottom support is connected to two vertices of the other support, to thereby form a plurality of side surfaces having a triangular truss structure, wherein said top support is formed into a pentagonal plane structure having upper left and right sides and lower left and right sides, and a bottom side, and said bottom support is formed into a pentagonal plane structure having upper left and right sides and lower left and right sides, and a bottom side. The upper left and right sides of the bottom support are vertically disposed below the bottom side of the top support, and the bottom side of the bottom support is vertically disposed below the upper left and right sides of the top support, so that parallel relationship can be kept between one of the sides of the bottom support and one of the sides of the top support, wherein said one of the sides of the bottom support is disposed diagonally to said one of the sides of the top support. |
