PURPOSE: A connector for a parallel conductor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to facilitate the manufacture of a connector by forming the pressure member through insert-molding. CONSTITUTION: A connector for a parallel conductor comprises terminals(2,3), a housing(4), and a press member(5). The housing has a bearing part and shaft holes(24,34) supporting the shaft part(52) of the press member. The press member includes the shaft part, an operating part, and a press part. The press member and the housing are formed through insert-molding of molten resin.
