PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a color filter is provided to improve the precision of the manufactured color filter by correcting a position error with respect to a nozzle arrangement between recording heads. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of nozzles(3) are prepared for recording head unit(1). Whether the nozzles are effective or ineffective is verified. An individual pattern for one opening is formed in order to control an ink discharge operation. The individual pattern is inserted to the effective nozzles. A pre-set number of nozzles on the both end of recording heads(21, 22, 23) function as shift spaces. A position error related to a nozzle arrangement is corrected using the shift spaces.
