PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to minimize a heat sink and to efficiently radiate the heat of an inverter regardless of the temperature of outer air. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises: a compressor(2) which is connected to a refrigerant intake channel(42) and a refrigerant discharge channel; an inverter(220) which changes the compression capacity of a compressor; and a heat sink(70) which releases the heat of the inverter and is connected to the refrigerant intake channel of the compressor and cooled down by the refrigerant intake channel. The refrigerant in the refrigerant intake channel is compressed after being inhaled, and the refrigerant compressed in the refrigerant intake channel is moved out to the refrigerant discharge channel.
