PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a hybrid pressure vessel with a composite of carbon fiber, epoxy resin, and radiation initiator hardened by radiation is provided to eliminate defects occurred by a difference of thermal expansion coefficient between a metal mandrel and a composite. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a hybrid pressure vessel is as follows. Carbon fiber is put into epoxy resin with radiation initiator. The carbon fiber containing the epoxy resin is molded in an aluminum mandrel. A vinyl pack is assembled in a molded article, and is purged with nitrogen. The molded article is hardened by irradiating radiation.
