<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the temperature rising of an electrical storage device without deteriorating the durability of an internal combustion engine in a machinery distribution type hybrid car. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid car includes: an engine; a first motor configured to generate a power by receiving a drive force from the engine; a power division mechanism configured to distribute the drive force from the engine to the first motor and the drive shaft of the vehicle; a second motor whose rotary shaft is coupled to the drive shaft; and an electrical storage device configured to transfer a power between the first and the second motors. When the temperature rise request of the electrical storage device is made during the stop of the hybrid car, the control device interrupts power transmission to the drive shaft, and makes the second motor alternately generate powering torque and regeneration torque by changing the operation point of the second motor. Also, the control device controls the first motor to generate torque Tg in a direction opposite to that of generation torque Tm of the second motor based on the inertia moment of the first and second motors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
