<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein it is necessary to confirm whether an event is generated, by making an inquiry using polling from a terminal 2 that requires notification of event to a terminal 1, that is a generating source of event for a protocol or program that cannot actively notify the terminal 2, that requires the notification of event regarding the generation of event from the terminal 1 that is the generating source of event, and in the inquiry using polling, a delay occurs with an inquiry time interval as a maximum, in the communication of a network application. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, a terminal 4 that mediates a notification of event, independently of the services of the event generating source 1 is arranged, and the terminal 2 that requires an event is notified of the generation of the event, from the terminal 1, that is the event-generating source via the terminal 4 that mediates the event and communications 6 and 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
