<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instruction input device performing an operation instruction in the same way as conventional various single-handed operation instructions using a mouse. <P>SOLUTION: The instruction input device is provided with: an identification part 12 for identifying coordinates representing a position of an image on a planar member on the basis of the image detected by the planar member for detecting nearby images; a decision part 13 for deciding a position relation between first and second images on the planar member by comparing coordinates between the first and second images when the first image and the second image are consecutively detected in this order at different positions on the planar member; and a determination part 14 for determining content of the instruction in accordance with the position relation between the first and second images on the planar member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
