<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seed setting device more economical and easily producible, because as directly sowing seeds bumps into bird damage so, to prevent the damage, methods using a large-sized machine or methods specially coating seeds are provided but installations and special technologies are required and thus the methods are neither widely used nor fixed. <P>SOLUTION: Cylindrical articles are fundamentally used to set seedlings. Cylinders set with seedlings, chemicals and the like are processed at the tip thereof to be easily set and are processed so as not to be pulled by birds. The seed setting device is provided by laterally adhering or the like the cylinders to form to be belt-like and a part of the cylindrical articles is processed not to be pulled and to be enabled to be easily laid on the soil, so as to correspond to torsion and the like. Further, the seed setting device simplified in harvesting work and works after harvesting is provided by extending upward a part of the seed setting device and exposed on the ground surface to form a part holding the upper part of a plant and a part completely dividing the upper part of the plant from a root thereof so as to cut the dividing part to simplify harvesting work and to set to tie plural upper parts to harvest.
