<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a holding element revolving type introduction machine without enlarging a device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cloth introduction machine includes: a first holding elements having a pair of right and left members, so as to attach a cloth at a work position in order to introduce the developed cloth at an introduction position at the front part of an introduction conveyor, and conveying the cloth from the height of the work position to the height of a delivery position; a holding elements having a pair of right and left members, so as to wait the cloth to be conveyed by the first holding elements at the delivery position, and conveying the received cloth to the introduction position; and a guide mechanism moving the second holding elements to the introduction position, allowing the cloth to be developed, and returning to the delivery position. The first holding elements 16, 17 are moved between the work position 14 for attaching the cloth and the delivery position 15. A revolving mechanism 20 is arranged in the front part of the introduction conveyor, so as to delivery the cloth on an inner side close to the introduction conveyor and to return to the work position on an outer side far from the introduction conveyor.
