PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specified position stop control device 1 capable of rapidly detecting the effectiveness of a brake after switching the brake to an air brake even if a braking force suddenly changes because of switching from an electric brake to the air brake, and thus improving the accuracy of a stopping position. SOLUTION: The specified position stop control device 1 holds a braking command by a braking command determining means 25 in a speed zone for switching from the electric brake to the air brake. In this way, the specified position stop control device 1 controls the brake in a setting state for the braking command at completion of rise of the air brake, and controls so as to detect the effectiveness of the brake in a short time after the completion of rise of the air brake.
