The laundry treatment machine has a drum (3) rotatably mounted in a housing (2), a feed opening locked with a door (4), and a blower. A heating unit (5) is provided for generating a process air stream (7) which flows through a heat exchanger (8). A flow channel is assigned with a bypass channel through which a part of the process air stream flows. A rotatable fibrous material filter unit (9) is arranged in front of the flow- and bypass channel.
