摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine capable of cooling and heating an exhaust manifold. <P>SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine (200) includes: a vortex tube (50); a heat exchange means (60) for exchanging heat between internally flowing gas and an exhaust manifold (20); a path group having a path (70) for making a portion of compressed air from a supercharger to flow into the vortex tube (50), a path (71) for making a portion of compressed air after passing an inter-cooler (40) for cooling the compressed air from the supercharger to flow into the vortex tube (50), a path (72) for making warm air from the vortex tube (50) to flow into the heat exchange means (60), and a path (73) for making cold air from the vortex tube (50) to flow into the heat exchange means (60); and flow rate control means (80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 100) for controlling the flow rate of the gas flowing in each of paths (70, 71, 72, 73) of the path group based on the temperature of exhaust gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
