<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket issuing apparatus and a numbered ticket for eliminating wasteful consumption of paper as pasted board for tickets with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: When numbered tickets are issued from a numbered ticket issuing machine 7, bar codes as well as the number of numbered ticket are printed on a numbered ticket. The barcode information Dbc is transferred to a fare box 5 and stored in a list table 46 in association with a boarding stop where a passenger has got on at that time. When the passenger gets off and the numbered ticket is put into the fare box 5 together with the fare, the barcode printed on the numbered ticket is read by a barcode read part 41.
