<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine that can appropriately correct a detected intake air amount to appropriately perform the control of the internal combustion engine according to a corrected intake air amount. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A control device 1 of an internal combustion engine 3 calculates a combustion state parameter IGLACT representing a combustion state in a cylinder 3a based on detected inside-cylinder pressure PCYL, and estimates, as a reference combustion state parameter IGLES, a combustion state parameter obtained in an operating state according to detected operating states NE and PMCMD of the internal combustion engine. The device corrects a detected intake air amount QA based on a correlation parameter DIGL which is one of a difference and a ratio of the estimated reference combustion state parameter and the calculated combustion state parameter.
