<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition exhibiting a rheological profile that features a variable ("up and down" or "increasing and decreasing") shear stress response to the increase of shear rates, better than a known make-up removal composition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This composition for make-up removal comprises: a mineral oil-free oily phase containing a linear or branched hydrocarbon or its ester; a copolymer of sodium salts of acrylates; a stabilized polymer including a copolymer of a 3-6C monoethylenic carboxylic acid or its anhydride and a long-chain acrylic acid ester; and a hydrophobic wetting agent containing 1-30C carboxylic acid mono- di- or tri-glyceride.
