PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial for an instrument allowing its manufacturing cost to be sharply reduced with its deterioration in quality prevented to the utmost. SOLUTION: Members 13 and 14 for decoration each include band-shaped inner circumferential walls 17 disposed around indicator turning zones 3 and 5, and band-shaped outer circumferential walls 19 disposed opposite to the circumferential walls 17. Band-shaped top wall parts 20 are formed by together connecting one end of each of the circumferential walls 17 and that of each of the circumferential walls 19 while band-shaped hollows 18 are formed by parting, from one end side toward the other side, the circumferential walls 17 and the circumferential walls 19 from each other. Further, reflection bands 26 for decoration are formed at least in zones including the wall parts 20 while the circumferential walls 17 and 19, and the wall parts 20 are integrally molded so that the circumferential walls 17 are thicker than the circumferential walls 19.
