<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost, by using a piston in common for a piston ring different in a specification, by facilitating manufacture. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This piston structure has an inside ring 21 fitted to and inserted into a ring groove 22 of the piston 3 and interposed between this ring groove and the piston ring 15. This inside ring is formed in a shape curved in a circular arc shape so that an inner diameter becomes smaller than an outer diameter of a bottom surface of the ring groove, by a material higher in abrasion resistance than the piston, and is arranged so as to be brought into pressure contact with the bottom surface of the ring groove by elastic force by being diametrically expansively deformed in a C shape in an installation state.
